Hi, I've been on the Evorel Sequi patches for a short time but the 2 weeks of conti (oestrogen and progesterone) affected my mood quite badly (anxiety, low mood). The 50s (just oestrogen) however, made me feel great, like I'd got ME back! It was suggested I had the coil fitted (I've had several over the years with no problems) and change to just oestrogen patches. The coil was fitted yesterday and she sent a new prescription down to the pharmacy which I picked up last night to find I'd been given Oestrgel. I had a read of the leaflet and saw that it was the same amount of oestrogen as a patch so thought it wouldn't make any difference! Anyway I put 2 pumps on as directed last night and went to sleep, I woke up 2 hours later and ended up awake, jittery and restless until 6am when I managed to get another 2 hours sleep! 😭 I'm annoyed because I was getting on so well with the 50 patches and am confused as to why they sent gel instead. WWYD if you were me? Should I have put the gel on in the morning rather than night and persevere? Should I have used less to begin with or should I just wait until Monday and call and ask to get the patch sent out? I was so excited to go back to how I felt on the 50 patches now the coil is in 🙈
