I was diagnosed with endemetriosis at the age of 25 and suffered for another 25 years until they decided to give me a total hysterectomy at the age of 50. Nine years later I feel like I cant go on feeling like I do anymore. I had a forced menopuase before the hysterectomy which was injections in my stomach over a period of time.
After the operation I wasnt offered any form of HRT or any kind of medication to help me get over this major operation. Still after 9 years I get brutal headaches, craving of food, sugar and feel really low My GP was non responsive and I felt all alone. I started taking Menecol for a while which did help but stopped working after a few months.
I had a private blood test (with aprivate clinic) which tested for all deficiences in my body, there were quite a few that were flat line including progesterone, Testerone. Oestradiol along with very low iron, Vitamin D and my digestive enzymes were rock bottom too . I have been going to a doctor of herbal medicine for a long time and she suggested a tincture and the supplements to boost Vit D, Strong Iron tablets and Cytozyme to aid in digesting the micro nutrients.
Im still left with symptoms regarding Progesterone, Testerone and Oestradiol. My GP is clueless when it comes to womens health, so please, please can anyone recommend either a private clinic or someone I can talk to medically and get me back where I belong. Thank you for reading x
