What’s your most difficult symptom to deal with?

  • Just trying to discover what the most challenging symptoms are that you are handling (or not!) at the moment...?

  • Night sweats

  • @Angeline Davies the lack of sleep has become all encompassing and debilitating.  I'm really struggling to cope and becoming more emotional and frustrated. I just want me back

  • @Claire Knight im right there with you, how awful is this? I just feel out of control do you? Helen

  • @Helen Pallett@Angeline Davies I hate me atm. I hate the hot sweats & even worse, my mood. I am literally ready to rip someone's head off. I'm struggling so much with my mood swings & being constantly tired coz I can't sleep even though I'm exhausted. I never signed up for this, periods were bad, but this........ what's worse is my husband & daughter seem to delight in winding me up & then watching me fly off the handle at the slightest little thing.  Where did 'I' go? I hope 'I' comes back coz this version of me is going to end up getting divorced or arrested or both. I'm struggling so much.

ive been put on hrt for just over a month now & I swear it's made me psychotic,  neurotic, & I just don't know how to cope.  When will these feelings go away?

  • Hi Everyone, I'm new here. I'm looking for some advice. The HRT pills are mostly helping with the night sweats but I am so bloated all the time, I look about 7 months pregnant. I havent found anything that helps. Does anyone have any advice?

  • Severe anxiety

  • @Helen Pallett I can really recommend the Day and Night Supplements from MenoMy. Sleep and Anxiety were the 2  main symptoms that I also found debilitating and they have helped ease my symptoms so much.

  • @Claire Lloyd me too so much so that it's become debilitating and I just can't function normally

  • Extreme mood swings and not being able to sleep at night.

  • Hot flushes, brain fog and mood swings. Is anyone else here neurodiverse? I've had a brain slightly out of focus my whole life (found out why, when the kids were diagnosed back in 2007), but I'm finding the menopause is making things so much worse. Since my household (except my husband) is neurodiverse, masking is getting very tiring recently. Lately I've felt completely dysregulated and anxious about things that shouldn't be such an issue. Sometimes I'd really just like to get my boxing gloves out and find a punch bag somewhere or grab a large cushion and scream my lungs out into it.

Recently I tried Black Cohosh and Lion's Mane, but not consistently enough to see a difference. I've finally spoken to a helpline and made a GP appointment.
